Hi Friends, welcome to our channel Balikabalida Thalaivarda. This is a short video on why the tussle within the ADMK is directly or indirectly helping Annamalai BJP grow. Once Annamalai became leader, the DMK went on attacking him personally and has made him the leader and crowd puller he currently is. Not to be out done, the ADMK also has started playing its role in helping Annamalai grow. This is not by launching personal attacks, but by fighting within themselves. ADMK is in an alliance with the BJP. After the demise of Jayalalithaa, both O.Pannerselvam(OPS)and E.Palanisamy(EPS) took upon themselves the mantle of dual leadership which was very much needed as both OPS and EPS don't have the crowd pulling ability of Jayalalithaa who wielded tremendous power. By settling for dual leadership, both the leaders seem to have good arrangement. However, once EPS tried to take control of the party, OPS went to court and stopped the proceedings that were to make EPS as the sole leader of the ADMK. Most of the office bearers are with EPS. However, not to be outdone, OPS went to court and stopped the proceedings. However, he also needs to realize that a party cannot be run from Court. Both the leaders need to come to an understanding on their roles and not try to preempt each other. However, that is what is happening. What this tussle has resulted is that the letter signed by OPS couldn't be delivered on time to candidates who were standing in the local body elections. EPS camp opposed this. Without the symbol, AIADMK is not a party. The two leaves symbol is what has made the party what it is. What this would help Annamalai BJP is that they can gain more votes and eat into the vote share of ADMK. What we always need to remember is that there is a 30% anti DMK vote that needs to be harvested. MGR was adept in harvesting this and as long as he was alive, DMK couldn't even smell power. This type of obstacles created by ADMK for itself may get the cadres to get demoralized and move towards Annamalai who is fighting for People centric issues. Annamalai successfully brought out scandals that were about to occur in Aavin, TNEB, to name a few. With Annamalai gaining popularity, the ADMK cadres are likely to switch as they are fighting for the same consistuency. Unless ADMK is able to solve the power struggle soon, we can expect an exodus to the BJP. Let's wait and see.
