Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. This is a short video outlining the various reasons for India's loss to South Africa in the First Cricket test played at the Centurion. The fact that India were on weak footing was evident once India lost quick wickets in the first innings. Let's start from the top. The first blame should go to Rohit Sharma for his poor shot selection in the first innings. Of all fielders, he chose the one placed in the leg trap and succumbed to the hook shot. Where patience was the key and one had to lead by example, Rohit was found to be wanting. If that was not enough, the other batsmen, with the exception of Rahul played some poor shots and got out. The South African bowlers, except for Rabada were a bit wayward which should have been capitalized by India but thanks to some poor technique, most of them got out cheaply. Things weren't that bad when Rahul got a century and India managed to put up 245 runs on board. The way India batted, it appeared a score above two hundred runs would have been a par score. India did exceed, however were let down by their bowlers. Except for Bumrah, no one else could really make use of the conditions. India definitely missed Shami who has an experience in these conditions and who can make the ball skid. Prasid Krishna who made his debut had little control and along with Shardul Thakur conceded close to two hundred runs. They bowled as if india had scored over four hundred runs. Ashwin as usual was under utilized. He has never been part of the team that plays overseas nowadays and with two left handers in the middle, never got a chance to try his wares. The fact that Jadeja was always playing abroad, Rohit seems to have forgotten that Ashwin existed. Ashwin did bowl economically and could have kept one end up while Bumrah and Siraj operated from the other end. Alas, that was not the case. On the Second day afternoon Rohit chose Shardul and Prasidh to operate when Siraj and Bumrah should have been bowling. It was unimaginative captaincy at it's best. Of course, elgar stood like a rock. However, it is for the opposite team to create pressure. Apart from this, in the second innings, Indian batsmen didn't show their mettle and except for Kohli, others were found wanting. What the Indian team needs to remember is that in foreign conditions, you definitely need four good bowlers to bowl the opposition out. In local conditions, one bowler is enough. That's what Rabada did for South Africa. Unless the Indian team's bowling improves, which is unlikely in the next test, the chances of squaring this series is very dim. Let's hope at least India won't suffer an innings defeat. India are really worth World Test Championship only if they win series in all lands. The team and Rohit need to remember that. Why India can't be too happy with Australia series win

Hi Friends, India thumped the Australia in the Second One day at Indore too and securing a morale boosting series win just prior to the World Cup. Most batsmen, in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli have struck form, with Shubhman Gill proving to be a revelation. Gill has adapted to fast bowling well. He was in splenid form against Pakistan in the Asia Cup which helped India score fast and big. His form does augur well for India. The bowlers have been good and had made inroads into the opposition. Shami bagged five wickets in the first match and in the Second match where there was Spin on offer, Ashwin was unplayable. He captured three wickets, creating selection dilemma for the World Cup. Amidst all this, we want to point out some chinks in the armor. The Indian team's fielding left a lot to be desired in the Second One day match, with so many dropped catches. This does not augur well, just before a major tournament such as the World Cup. India should have ended the Australian innings quickly. From 140/8, the Australian tail managed to wag and scored 217 runs. Even though the margin of defeat was huge, it would have served real purpose if India had not let the tail to wag. This can recoil back on India where it might lead to their inability to close out matches and giving unwanted leverage to the opposition. The  other major thing is India are playing the tournament on their home grounds where they can know the conditions a lot better. There won't be much of swing on offer. Hence we can't rejoice that this is the team for the World Cup! The Australian team is also a bit weak as all players have not landed in India yet! There is also a danger of India peaking early. All these things have to be borne in mind before we rejoice that India are already on the verge of winning the World Cup. A lot of work still needs to be done. The good thing, as we stated earlier is it now appears to be a problem of plenty. We hope it serves that way until the end of World cup.

 Why India are out of Asia CUP T20 2022

Hi Friends, welcome to our blog. Well, this is a short commentary on why india are out of Asia Cup T20 2022. Being the current Champions, India were widely perceived to make the finals atleast. However, that has not been the case this time. Having lost to both Sri Lanka and Pakistan, a defeat against Afghanistan shouldn't matter much as anyway India are out of the Asia Cup. However, as luck would have it, India played first in both the matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Generally, teams chasing have been the winners mostly in Dubai and that sentiment also held true. To India's dismay, both the matches went till the last over. Hence it was not a comprehensive defeat. However, that alone cannot be an excuse for defeats. The main reason is absence of Bumrah who really bowls well in the death. Definitely his absence was felt as the seam attack looked a bit weak, despite Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who seemed to have lost steam in the match against Sri Lanka. In fact, Kumar conceded only 1 run in his first over against SL. The other reason for defeat is India not scoring enough number of runs. In a 50 over game, the average run rate is to double the score at the end of 30 overs. Accordingly. in a T-20 game, the score at the end of 12 overs should have been doubled. In both the Super 4 matches India didn't double their scores, falling short by at least 20-30 runs. The pitch might be sluggish and not conducive to stroke making, but this is the rule. Had all Indian batsmen fired their cylinders, India would be at the top of the pool now. Indian bowlers generally do well if the batsmen pile up good amount of runs. However, with a slightly close to a par score. the bowlers could only drag the match till the last over but not do much. We however feel that the batsmen should have scored good amount of runs. That would have definitely helped in the team's cause. With an early return, India can hopefully prepare better for the T-20 Cup in Australia. After the conclusion of Limited over series and T-20 against England, India now fly to the west indies to take part in a T-20 and limited over series. It makes sense as the next major tournament for India is the World T-20 to be played in Australia during the month of October 2022. Virat kohli has been rested for the West Indies series. In a way it is good but also an alternate way of dropping him. In a way, it is good, as he failed miserably in both the T-20 and One day Series against England. He is yet to score a century in the last couple of years. Ever since he took upon himself the task to sideline Ashwin, his form seems to have deserted him.
