Why Rajinikanth is the only Super star

Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. This is a short video on why Thalaivar Super Star Rajinikanth is the only Super star amidst all news that Leo would collect over thousand crores. Just because Leo has been marketed well and poised to collect a huge moolah at the box office, folks want the Super Star title to be given to Vijay! No way! Super Star title is much more than that. That's what we have discussed about in this video. Chitra Lakshman of Touring Talkies had once said that even if Rajini were to give up the title, his fans are unwilling. It is partially only true. Thalaivar had earned the title way back in the late 1970's itself. If Thanu had given the title, he (Thanu) felt that Thalaivar deserved it. People also need to remember what Director P.Vasu had once said about who is Super Star. Please watch as to who is Super Star and give your comments below.

Why 30 years Rajinikanth's Valli important

Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. This is a short video on why 30 years of Superstar Rajinikanth's Valli is important. It was the first movie written and produced by Thalaivar for his friends who couldn't get a foothold in the film industry even after 15-20 years. They were all his batch mates. The movie was a moderate success in Tamil. However, it proved prediction of Maestro Ilayaraja correct. The movie was dubbed in Telugu as Vijaya and ran for over 175 days. It had it's moments and punch dialogues. Please watch and provide your comments below.

Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. This is a short video on when our Thalaivar Super Star Rajinikanth really became a Super Star. The Super Star title is generally reserved for actors who are liked by Children. even though Kalaipuli Thanu gave the Title as Super Start for the movie Bhairavi, Thalaivar became a Super Star only after Annai Oru Aalayam. This movie was released in 1979, after Bhairavi. This was the II movie that Thalaivar acted in a Devar films movie. The Story is about how Thalaivar unites an Elephant calf with it's mother. The second half is fully comical which was liked by small kids and was the stepping stone for him becoming a Super Star. Please do watch and leave your comments below.

Why Rajinikanth could not enter Politics

Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. Well, this is a short video on why our Thalaivar Super Star Rajinikanth could not enter Politics. Well, there are several reasons already told. Some blamed the DMK for carrying out moves behind the screen to ensure Thalaivar did not take the plunge. We can easily second guess that. However, looking back, we feel that Thalaivar was too good for politics. He was too good a person to be in politics. I have narrated an incident told to Chitralaya Lakshmanan by Pyramid Natarajan who was the executive producer of Kavitalaya Films. It was an old video, but really brought out the best quality in thalaivar Rajinikanth. After hearing the incident again, I felt that Thalaivar not joining politics was good for him as a person. Some people may not like what I said, including his fans like me, but it was the inherent nature of the man that finally caused him to backtrack. Please watch and give your thoughts below.

How Rajinikanth made PS1 hit without acting in it||#rajinikanth

Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. Happy birthday to our Super Star Rajinikanth!  Well, this is a short video on why Thalaivar Super Star Rajinikanth need not always act in a movie to make it a hit. A good example is his promo during Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. He gave an emotional speech and how much he wanted to be associated with the movie. His promotion came from the heart and that also ensured the movie's success. Definitely we feel thalaivar's fans would have been tempted to watch the movie in the theaters. That contributed to it's roaring success. We hope you would agree with it. Please watch and leave your comments below.

Happy birthday Rajinikanth!

40 Years of Moondru Mugam:

Hi Friends, this is a short video on Thalaivar's Moondru Mugam that was release in October 1982.  Hence, felt it pertinent to talk about it during Diwali weekend.  This was the first movie Thalaivar acted in a triple role. The heroines were Radhika and Shankarabaranam Rajalakshmi. One character was a Police officer and the other ones his sons, with one being a small time crook and the other one belonging to a rich family. It ran similar to Naan Vazha Vaippen where Rajini fans wanted to watch only the second half and gave the go by for the first half. In fact, the hallmark was lot of Kamal fans turned Thalaivar fans overnight. Such was the power of Alex Pandian Character.  The Villain role was played by Senthamarai. The movie was remade in Hindi also as John, Jaani and Janardhan.  Senthamarai played a role named Ekambaram who trades in illicit liquor. In one scene Senthamarai threatens Rajini that if a baby hears his(Senthamarai) name, any crying baby would close it's mouth. Thalaivar's immediate retort would be, tell the baby my name, it would close it's mother's mouth also. The audience would erupt in the theater with whistles. When Kalaippuli Thanu advertised for Kakka Kakka, he showed Surya following Thanka Pathakkam Shivaji and Alex Pandian #Rajinikanth. The Story is about Sons avenging the death of their father at the hands of the Villain. However, it was the Alex Pandian character that took the movie to a different level. We can watch the movie at least once and any number of times for the Alex Pandian character. In fact the movie was successful only because of Alex Pandian.
