Why I'm worried for Rajinikanth after watching Vijay's Beast:

Contrary to expectations, beast has not been declared a major hit. Thalaivar Rajinikanth fans were also eager to watch the movie to know what is in store for them with Thalaivar 169. However,

all of them have been disappointed. There are several reasons for the movie going bad. The first reason is the story and it's backdrop. A mass star like Vijay has been made to go around a mall

which appears to be small and the public too not apparently bothered at the Mall being hijacked by terrorists. We, the audience don't feel that the Mall has been hijacked. It seems like a comedy movie. The next one is the audience doesn't feel that the Mall has been hijacked. We, the audience don't feel that we are inside that Mall. For these types of movies to succeed, the audience should feel engaged and they are also in the thick and thin. We also should feel that we have been hijacked. Apparently, the director has failed miserably on that front. It could be due to his capability or due to him being only 3 films old.

Also, the movie sold for over 200 crores, the making costs seem to be cheap. Of course, with the hero and other artists taking a big share of the pie, it leaves very little amount to produce the movie.

Contrast this with KGF 2, which has spent more than 100 crores on the movie itself. The other reason is that even though the songs have become popular they seem to be out of place in a movie where

the people are battling a hijack. The movie also seems to be a repeat of his previous movies with even serious scenes being made comical which may work for Siva karthikeyan and not for Vijay. We expected better stuff from Vijay. Last but not the least reason, this is a movie not for Vijay. Some other lesser known hero might have been sufficient for this type of storey. We therefore are scared as to what is going to happen to Thalaivar 169 with Nelson wielding the megaphone. We hope it has a good Story and enough scope for Thalaiar to show his histrionics. In one way, the failure is good as expectations 

would be less for Thalaivar's movie which might work out:). Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hi Friends, welcome to our short review of the match between SRH and Gujarat Titans played today. As expected, it was a tough match for both the sides, with GT emerging victorious in the last ball. The net result is that SRH' Net run rate wasn't impacted much. However, this match was always going to point out to who was going to be for sure in the last four. Definitely we feel GT are one amongst the top 4. To come back into a match after letting SRH score over 195 was great going. Apart from that, Umran Malik was in great form, capturing 5 prized wickets with sheer pace. His slowest delivery is in the 130 Kph category. Coming back into the match, SRH did get to post a good score, despite losing Williamson cheaply. They didn't look like posting a score of 195 but thanks to last ball heroics, they posted 195 runs. 

In their reply, Gujarat Titans did start of well. They scored 60 runs without losing a wicket. In hindsight, we feel it was the good opening stand that laid a strong platform for GT in their final push for victory. Both Kumar and Natarajan couldn't make inroads. Jansen was strangely off color. In fact, he conceded 68 runs in his four overs. Coupled with that, SRH dropped a few catches and Umran stood as if some cob webs we around his legs when he didn't even attempt to catch a Rashid Khan's skier. With a little bit of more fielding, SRH could have made the cut. Any case, if they win their next match, they can get back to their winning ways. Let's wait and see.

Why Royal Challengers Bangalore are going from bad to worse!

Looking at Today's match between RCB and Rajasthan Royals, it is very easy to infer that RCB are only going from bad to worse. If their performance in the previous match against SRH was to be regarded as an aberration, today can be regarded as a surrender! 
 

Rajasthan Royals, batting first, put on 144 runs which was a below par score, considering the scores other teams had defended! They were all set to score lesser than that after losing Jos Buttler cheaply. However, Parag made some amends by scoring 56 runs which helped them post 144. Chasing 145 to win, RCB again started stuttering after losing Virat Kohli cheaply. Ever since Virat Kohli took on the task of sidelining Ashwin in England last year, his form seems to have deserted him. He is yet to score a century or a match winning knock in any format. Other batters followed Virat and the team folded up for 115 runs, helping the Royals strengthen their net run rate further. Losing is not a bad thing but losing by a large margin is, as Net run rate might come down and which can again impact the team in getting into the last 4. RCB are better than Delhi capitals but can still play better. Virat Kohli should probably take a break and help his team is what we feel.

Hi Friends, welcome to our blog. Well, this is a short video on why we feel Pakistan ex-Prime Minister Imran khan lost power, despite his best efforts to cling on to the post of Prime Minister. He did all he could to cling on to the post but ultimately was defeated in a no-confidence motion. We are trying to analyze the reasons behind it in this video. As far as Pakistan politics is concerned, the three main pillars are Allah, Army and America. If things fail, they take a religious turn. That's when Pakistani politicians invoke the supreme and play politics. In Imran's case, he antagonized both the Army and America at one go. By visiting Russia right at the start of Russia/Ukraine war, he antagonized America no end and had to pay the price. America is one major donor to Pakistan and all high level Pakistani Politicians and the Army men have properties in America. It is in their best interests that America is not antagonized. Once he praised Russia, destabilization games started, similar to what happened to India in 1999 when Fernandez boldly declared that China was India's #1 enemy. Next, coming to the army, Imran Khan tried to sack the current army chief Bajwa which got Bajwa riled up no end. Hence, all powers came together and showed Imran the door. Imran whether intentional or non-intentional, started praising Modi, which was going to be bitter to the Army. Again, Imran was propped up by the army and once he fell out with the Army, had to go. Dhoni's CSK keep Mumbai Indians in Ducks Ville

Mumbai Indians did recover from a precarious position of 2/2 to post 155 runs on board in 20 overs. However, this was not enough to keep CSK at bay. Looking at the match, it appeared  that Mumbai Indians were going to post a below par total, similar to Punjab Kings last night. However, that was not the case this time as they managed to score 155 runs, thanks to Tilak Varma, Hrithik and Pollard. The worse start was one of the major contributors to the defeat as the both the openers didn't trouble the score board and within 3 overs, MI had lost 3 wickets. It was due to good bowling by CSK that Mumbai Indians couldn't post an above par total. When CSK batted, it appeared that Mumbai Indians would be able to leave Ducks ville. However, MS Dhoni had other ideas and treated Jaydev Unadkat bowling with disdain and score 16 runs in the last over. With a boundary required of the last ball, Dhoni was super cool in executing it and the match was won. It really spoke volumes about MS Dhoni and re-iterating what a valuable player Dhoni is! even though CSK won, they still have mountains to climb during the second half of the tournament where they cannot afford to lose even a single match. Let's see what is in store for them.

 Why Punjab Super Kings lost to Delhi Capitals will hurt them more

Hi Friends, this is a short review of the match played between Punjab Super Kings and delhi capitals. PBSK were unlucky to lose the toss and once again paid the price for their aggressive approach to the spinners. Even though Mayank Agarwal started off well, he couldn't continue for long and could score only 20 odd runs. Once again the importance of openers coming off good cannot be over stressed. Shikar Dhawan got out cheaply and the rest followed in their foot steps. The wickets were mostly taken by spinners. The one thing about spinners is once they smell blood, they pounce upon the target and demolish them. Punjab did themselves no good and were shot out for 115. So far this has been the lowest score in this year's IPL and this is going to hurt their prospects in the coming games. Delhi capitals managed to score the required runs very quickly and improved their NRR. So far, they are team with the highest NRR. They are still behind SRH but can catch up soon. Punjab kings appear to be ab also ran team this year too! Lets wait and watch.

Hi Friends, this is a short video on why we feel Kejriwal wants to rule Punjab by remote control. As his wont, Kejriwal organized a teleconference with state secretaries of Punjab government without the Chief Minister being present. This caused a large ripple in political circles. Both Akali Dal, Congress and opposition are up against it. Amarinder Singh has objected it and rightly pointed out that this is an infringement in the affairs of Punjab by an outsider. However, as we had mentioned earlier, this was not entirely unexpected from the AAP. We had expected this, but not so soon. As far as Kejriwal is concerned, he would always feel Mr. Mann is a Chief Minister of a State, whereas he, Kejriwal, the leader of AAP, is a chief minister in a Union Territory. Definitely Kejriwal has his eyes on the Chief Minister ship of Punjab. For example, will Tamilnadu Chief minister Stalin tolerate Chief Minister of another state hosting a tele conference with it's officials? As far as Punjab is concerned, there are already separatist tendencies which started from mid 1970's. There are already enough issues on hand. Punjab is a sensitive border state and by convening this type of conference, AAP has humiliated Punjabis and inviting more trouble. The Sickular press won't advertise it much as Kejriwal is a Secularist, which everyone should believe. If AAP can do this in one state, imagine what would happen if they get elected in more states. Everything would be remote controlled from Delhi to ensure Kejriwal is on top. One thing is certain, as far as Kejriwal is concerned. He is the number 1, number 2, number 3 in the party and no one can rise within it's ranks to Kejriwal's peril. Thank God they didn't get to influence the Goa and other electorate that much. We can hardly imagine what would have happened. The only answer is defeat of AAP at the hustings at any cost.

 Why Mumbai Indians are virtually out of IPL 2022:

KL Rahul's sixty ball century was the main contribution for Lucknow Super Giants in their score of 199 against Mumbai Indians. However, more than that, it was the sloppy fielding of Mumbai Indians that seemed to have caused their defeat. They lost by 18 runs to slump to their 6th straight defeat and their chances of qualifying hang by a thread as they need to win all their matches, which is a long haul as the team looks demoralized.  Their Captain Rohit Sharma is yet to fire in this IPL and the results are showing. Lucknow Super Giants, one of the two new teams in this IPL are really showing the way with what a new team can do. They seem to be lacking a wicket taking bowler at the top. Bumrah didn't concede many runs but didn't take any wickets either. That sums up the MI efforts in this match. It would be a tall order if they still manage to qualify. With 4 teams already vying for the fourth place, not sure where the Mumbai Indians can go. Best of luck for IPL 2023!

Rajasthan Royals were expected to win the match when Buttler got going but soon disintegrated to lose by a huge margin of 37 runs. This in turn helped Gujarat Titans in their net run rate. The match started with Gujarat Titans going great guns. They were always over 9 runs an over and were expected to finish over 200 runs. However they could muster slightly over 190 runs. We felt their score was low by at least 15-20 runs but that was still enough to defeat Rajasthan Royals. The Royals were really hitting the ball all over the park and within power play were 65 runs in 6 overs. This was by means a no mean achievement. Somehow Buttler managed to get out leaving an opening and their Captain Sanju made it worse by getting run out. Once he was run out, it was only a matter of time before the Royals folded up and that's what ultimately happened. The Gujarat Titans as we had observed earlier are the team to beat in this tournament. They now top the table and may even enter the last 4 as both CSK and Mumbai Indians have only a feeble hope of making the cut.

Hi Friends, this is a short video on why we feel MK Stalin's DMK government is distinctly anti hindu and trying to implement court judgements that are inimical to hindus in general right away and giving the go by to other court judgements. To quote an example, we can look at the Ayodhya Mandapam issue where a takeover by HR & CE happened as soon as the court vacated the stay. This issue has been going on since 2013 and the court had vacated the stay recently and immediately during Ram Navami celebrations itself, HR&CE entered the premises of Ayodhya Mandapam.  In the case of NEET, despite Supreme court ensuring that NEET needs to be followed for all medical college admissions, the DMK seems oblivious to it and in fact made false promises that NEET would be abolished as soon as they came to power. However, this is yet to happen and DMK still continues to do politics with it. Even in Lavanya case also the high court ruled a CBI enquiry but the DMK government went to Supreme court for quashing it and came back empty handed. There are cases where judgements could not be implemented practically. Most of you know about the Shia/Sunni rivalry within Islam. It just happened that when Kalyan Singh, a reputed leader from BJP was the chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. There was a litigation where Sunnis had occupied the Gabristan or the graveyard of the Shias and refused to give it back. It had gone to court and the court after hearing arguments from both sides, ruled on the favor of Shias. However, when the authorities went to the Gabristan to implement the court order, they found a huge crowd of Sunni muslims armed with Swords, spears and bricks, ready to protect their graveyard. It was very evident that without bloodshed and shoot at sight orders, the matter cannot be resolved. Kalyan Singh's government realized this and went back to the court and mentioned that they cannot implement the court order without bloodshed and non-compliance didn't mean that it was contempt of court. The matter was treated as resolved as it was going to create a big law and order problem. The DMK government very eager to hurt Hindu sentiments is playing pied piper but would soon realize their folly. Definitely the grieved party is likely to approach the higher courts and get a stay. The litigation is going to continue. The only hope is for people to remain vigilant of new moves by the DMK government. let's see if better sense prevails on the DMK government in the days to come.

 Chennai Super Kings exit Ducks Ville at last!

Chennai Super Kings successfully exited Ducks Ville after suffering four consecutive losses. It was totally unlike of CSK to suffer so many losses. They scored over 200 runs in this match despite losing Ruturaj cheaply early on and once again Jadeja failing to score enough runs.  CSK scored 216 runs and in reply RCB scored 193 runs which was not that bad. The fact is RCB posted this score despite losing 8 wickets for 171 runs. The margin though looks comfortable. The one positive for CSK is that they have exited ducks ville and shown their calibre in recording their win. However, they still need to a great majority of their matches to really think of entering the last four. That is still a long way to go and looks a bit tough. CSK should have retained DuPlessis and not let go Hazelwood. Jadeja should step down as captain if team suffers any more loss. Still all the best to both teams to progress further in the tournament.
