How Russell became a hero from zero to power KKR to victory Vs PBKS

Umesh Yadav took 4/23 to scuttle Punjab Kings efforts to power KKR to their second victory. Odean Smith who was one of the heroes for PBKS in the previous game, could score only 9 runs. Their captain Mayank Agarwal once again let them down with a score in single digits. However, the root cause of their defeat was Umesh Yadav who took 4 wickets and conceded only 23 runs. Umesh has come a long way when he used to be the milch cow of all IPL teams, with his extra pace conceding runs freely. He should turn out to be a good bowler during the World Cup T20. Russell who was a zero in the previous match against RCB emerged as a hero today and scored more than 70 runs to power KKR to their second victory. Shreyas Iyer has been handling Umesh well and let's see how much KKR can travel in this tournament.

As far as PBKS are concerned, they are back to their old ways, conceding defeat easily. The fact that they didn't utilize their full quota of 20 overs is going to hurt them in this tournment.

RCB sweat it out before Maiden IPL 2022 win Vs KKR

Hi Friends, this is our review of the RCB Vs KKR match played today. Contrary to expectations, KKR didn't rattle up a good score, thanks to the restrictive line bowled by RCB bowlers. At one stage, crossing 100 odd runs appeared difficult and towards the end KKR managed to achieve it. When they came back to bowl, they really had RCB on the mat. It appeared that RCB was back to it's old ways, similar to 2021 where they lost from strong positions. Fortunately for them, Dinesh Karthik was there who finished off in style. Even he could have been run out very easily towards the end as Umesh Yadav threw to the wrong end and Karthik survived. The win though does take away some credit from RCB as they huffed and puffed to victory. One good thing for KKR is that their bowlers, except Russell, bowled really well and all of them conceded only less than 20 runs in their four overs. It therefore looks like KKR is going to really make it tough for their opponents. One heartening feature is that Umesh Yadav is bowling well and not conceding too many runs.
