Hi Friends, this is a short video on the recent actions of Congress party in Karnataka. It was cheap level politics practiced by the Karnataka Congress party. This is in particular to Congress Leader Siddaramaiah arriving in the karnataka assembly on a horse drawn vehicle called as Tanga. Not to be outdone, his bet noire within the party, Sivakumar also arrived in the Karnataka assembly on a Tanga. They both were protesting against the Petrol and Diesel prices which continue to remain over Hundred Rupees. Everyone knows that the main reason for the rise in Petroleum is due to it not being brought under GST. All states are against it as they are generating a huge tax revenue from it. Also, the reason for the high prices is due to hike in Petroleum prices worldwide. The Government however hard it is trying, is unable to soften the burden as it needs to payback the oil companies for the bonds issued to them. Any default on them would cause the companies to go in the red, causing bigger problems. Again the root cause was the Congress party itself which diverted the surplus funds derived from Petrol sale to other projects causing the Oil companies to suffer losses. In fact, the Congress ruled the country for over 50 years and did not find a permanent solution to the vexed oil prices. Instead of arriving on a Tanga and enacting stunts, Siddaramaiah could have come in an Electric Scooter or an electric vehicle to show how to overcome the price increase. That would have been indeed a positive step. Instead, they chose to indulge in cheap politics. The same is the case with Tamilnadu Congress. Their only aim is to get some MLA/MP seat and ride piggyback on the DMK or ADMK. They have never tried to grow the organization right after Kamaraj. They have been content to remain close to power and given organizational growth the go by. They are unable to even project the sacrifices done by their own leaders. For example. Rajiv Gandhi was killed in Sri Perumpudur, near Chennai by the LTTE. It was after that Sri Perumpudur developed. Until 1991, it used to be a small town, hardly known outside, except for the fact that Saint Ramanuja was born there. If you visit it now, it is hardly recognizable. The bypass road is flooded with industries, making the main road leading to the town as a small street. Such has been the development around Sri Perumpudur. The Congressmen are unable to project his sacrifice. To be honest, it was Rajiv Gandhi's killing that acted like an offering to the land in that area that helped industries grow in and around that area. It was like Royal blood being shed for a cause. I hope better sense prevails upon Congressmen. But it's still too late, but if they wake up, some improvements are possible. If you like this video, please share and don't forget to subscribe.
