What you can do in Cancun ||#cancun https://youtu.be/6B2YL8p8JfM #vlog #Cancun
Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. This is a short video on our recent visit to Cancun, Mexico. It was a nice trip, having planned it well in advance. We stayed at Cancun Plaza and moved around to different locations. On our first day we had planned to visit Chechen itza. However, that was closed due to some Mayan protests. In fact, more than 50% of Mayan buildings were destroyed by the Spaniards and the limestones taken away to build Churches and dwellings. Only 20% has been excavated so far, with 30% still remaining. The locals are fighting that their Mayan heritage should be preserved and they are doing this against all odds. Since we couldn't visit Chechen Itza, we visited Acropolis, another Mayan dwelling which had high rise steps leading to it. It was a good experience and we got to visit a nice pool with a waterfall which made for some excellent clicks. On day two and three we visited an Island and Rio Secreto, the underground caves of the Mayans which was discovered only 15 years ago. Please do watch and provide your comments below.
