Happy Father's day 2022:
Hi Friends, welcome to our channel. Well, this is a short video on the happy occasion of Father's day. As most of us must be aware, we males are most attached to our mothers and we feel everything is done by Mother. However, the pillar of strength for the Mother is always the Father. We don't realize what our Father did until they are no more, as whatever a Father does is always hidden or doesn't become obvious to our eyes. I'm narrating a small incident on what a True Father can be. Well, this incident happened more than 30 years ago when I was in Bombay, India in search of a job. I was in my Uncle's place searching for a job as jobs were scarce in Chennai at that time. My Uncle was a high ranked official in a Central Government owned bank. It just happened that as part of my daily routine I was doing my Sandhyavandanam or a prayer to the Supreme. Seeing me perform my Sandhyavandanam, my Uncle asked his Son who was also around 15-16 years at that time. My Cousin (his Son), instead asked his Father(my uncle) to do first. I was a bit taken aback by my Cousin's words. I had earlier seen my Uncle's anger and was fearing all hell was going to break loose. Instead, my Uncle said in a soft tone, "My father was a poor School teacher who had to raise four daughters and two Sons and couldn't really afford to perform Upanayana at the right age. He performed Upanayana for me in a group and that was when I was Seventeen years or more and hence couldn't really take it up! I did perform for you at the right age and hence expect you to do it! After saying this, he walked away! Whenever I recollect this incident, tears roll down my eyes even now. I realized that it is very important for one to be a Father to his children, however great he can be or however great he happens to be! Kind words of wisdom are what are needed from a Father. A person can be a king, but he is still a Son to his Mother. A true Father is one who always has kind words for his Children. He leaves a mark on his children only with his kind words.
