Hi Friends, this is a short video on How India can defeat #South Africa in the #Johannesburg test and the win the series decisively. As you all know, India are currently touring South Africa for a three test series. Having won the first test at Centurion where they have never won before, they are on the verge of creating history in South Africa. The second test at Johannesburg is scheduled to start on January 3rd. A win here would ensure that history is created. India in fact have never lost at Johannesburg with securing three wins and two draws in the matches played earlier. It is therefore a lucky ground for India. For India to win, they just need to keep things simple. They need to do the same things that they did during the course of the first test. If we look at India's margin of victory, it is approximately the runs scored by the first wicket in India's first innings. Along with that, KL Rahul's century at the top also helped the team immensely. For that matter, opening partnership, especially for a visiting team is very crucial for success. That's what played a crucial role for India. In almost all tours, we used to have makeshift openers who always used to fail, putting the Middle order under great pressure. Whenever the Opening batsmen click, the team does well. Despite Pujara's repeated failures, the fact that the openers scored sizable amount of runs helped the team immensely in having a good par score in the first innings. The fact that the tail didn't add much didn't impact the overall score as noted by the margin of victory. The fielding was also good and contributed to the victory. Another main reason was Kohli winning the toss and electing to bat. Even in the ICC test championships match against New Zealand, losing the toss proved to be decisive towards the end. Also, we got five bowlers who played during this test. Normally there would be four bowlers and all rounder. In this case, Ashwin is an allrounder, having contributed to a decisive draw earlier this year against Australia which finally helped in the Indian team's victory at the Gabba as it kept the series alive. From what we see, Shardul Thakur may lose his space to an additional batsmen. However, this is still speculative, knowing Kohli's whims and fancies. Ashwin we think has retained his place, courtesy the last two wickets that secured the win, however it remains to be seen. Siraj and Shami contributed immensely to the victory, with Shami roaring back into great form. Bumrah as usual has been exceptional. Let's hope all bowlers continue with their form and contribute to a victory at Johannesburg. All the best Team India. IF you like this video, please share and subscribe.
