Hi Friends, welcome to our blog. Well, as the Covid19 situation is worsening all over India, people are in dire need of Oxygen. The covid variant is directly impacting the lungs and killing respiratory cells that carry Oxygen. That is where the need of Oxygen is appearing paramount for Patients. In this scenario, Corporates have come forward to supply Oxygen to hospitals all over the Country and the Tata group is also investing heavily. Along with other corporates, Vedanta group has offered to run it's now shutdown sterlite factory in Tuticorin to produce 1000 tonnes of Oxygen everyday and supply it free of cost. This is something that needs to be supported. We have therefore published the following video as a request to tamilnadu Chief minister Shri.K.Palanisamy to permit Vedanta group to resume operations to produce Oxygen alone in their Tuticorin plant. This is a great human gesture that needs to be supported. This is also a golden opportunity for Tamilnadu to support other states that are in need of Oxygen. Orissa has already taken the lead and other states should follow suit. We once again request Tamilnadu CM EPS to permit this as the Covid19 wave is expected to peak in the middle of May 2021.
