Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)secure thrilling win:

Delhi Capitals (DC), without one of their Stalwarts Ravi Ashwin succumbed to a one run defeat against RCB. Set to score 172 runs for a victory, they could manage only 170 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. The defeat might have been a bit disheartening to DC, but going by their form in the last two matches, merits some concern. In their previous match against Sun Risers Hyderabad, they won in the Super over. DC were a stronger team and could still manage to win only in the Super over. This should have sounded the alarm bells in the DC camp. However, persisting with Stoinis seems to have cost the Delhi capitals dear as the runs conceded by him in the last over seems to have a bearing on the result. Mohammad Siraj held his nerve to provide RCB a much needed victory. In the end, it was so near, but yet so far, for DC. They should have won this match. However, a loss didn't put them back too much but alarm bells should start ringing as their form has slowly started slumping. They should win their next match to be in the top 4 and keep their NRR on the positive side.
