The DMK government is planning to build a monument in the form of a pen on the sea coast and as a part of environmental clearance, a meeting was organized and Seeman rightly protested. The DMK government had recently solicited donations from the people to build good schools, citing lack of funds. However, how come the DMK government found enough funds for a monument! This was rightly pointed out by Seeman and we appreciate him for this. What we feel is that the opposition would gain more support if Annamalai also opposes the monument. The DMK of it’s really adamant on this, can build it at Valluvar Kottam in the heart of Madras. That was indeed a brain child of Karunanidhi and hence makes more instance. That way, at one place itself people can view Valluvar Kottam and pen monument for Karunanidhi. Let’s hope better sense prevails on dmk government.
