Hi Friends, welcome to our channel Balikabalida Thalaivarda. This is a short video  on why DMK  Stalin avoided meeting Annamalai and instead went to Mayiladuthurai. The DMK is unable to give proper reasons for it's inability to reduce Fuel prices. Annamalai had already threatened to take a rally to Fort St George as a protest against DMK being unable to reduce Fuel prices. By avoiding a meeting with Stalin and going to Cauvery delta,  the DMK has played into the hands of the BJP and helping Annamalai declare that Stalin is scared of meeting him(Annamalai) and went to Mayiladuthurai. This type of re-joinder wasn't something that the DMK expected! This is also a supportive argument and a new weapon in the hands of Annamalai. The DMK is also unable to  counter Annamalai. Now RS Bharathi, in the name of defending Stalin, wants Annamalai to go and ask TR Baalu, who wrote the election manifesto. What DMK seems to have forgotten is whatever Annamalai is demanding is in the DMK's election manifesto. Earlier RS Bharathi threatened Annamalai with physical threats conveniently forgetting that Annamalai was an IPS Cadre Police officer. Even if Annamalai were to meet TR Baalu, he would be redirected probably to the typist who typed the election manifesto. However what is evident from this is Annamalai is the current Karunanidhi of Tamilnadu politics, not in corruption but in keeping the BJP active. Even though being out of power for over 14 years, Karunanidhi kept the DMK alive by announcing some agitation or the other against MGR. In the same fashion, Mr.Annamalai is keeping the Bjp active and has announced a major rally in Tiruchi with over a million participants. If it happens, it is no mean achievement. 

All along, the Dmk has been keen on capturing power, rather than governance, that's why they have never been re-elected twice. Even Annadurai even though he came to Power in 1967, never really had a strategy to defeat the Congress. Annadurai and other DMK party men were looking at one another when a BBC correspondent asked them what was their strategy to defeat the Congress! DMK's only aim is to grab power and enjoy it's fruits and not govern! Let's see if they get better in the next 5 years.

 Why Rajasthan Royals should lift IPL 2022 Cup this time

Hi Friends, welcome to our blog. Well, as we all know 5/29 is the last day of the IPL 2022 with rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans locking horns. For Gujarat Titans, this is their maiden entry into the final in their first appearance itself. It really speaks volumes about their ability. They did show their prowess right from the beginning and stayed unbeaten in almost in their first few matches. Not many teams in the IPL have done it. It also goes to the credit of Hardik Pandya for this achievement. While their entry is commendable what we found glaring was their 5 run loss against the last placed Mumbai Indians, who for reasons unknown started off with 6 straight losses, effectively ruling out the chances of others. However GT's 5 run loss against MI made us feel that GT are not that great a team. Any good team should have won that match. What made it pretty obvious was that if Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings had played to their potential, this tournament would have been vastly different!

Next. coming to the Royals, their journey to the finals had been pretty steady. They didn't get too much into a negative run rate. They did show their class in most of the matches and Jos Buttler was pretty helpful at the top. In fact, his innings at the top really pepped up the scores for the Royals. Apart from Buttler, others too contributed and Ashwin experience since the beginning of the IPL held them in great stead. Ashwin proved to be a great team player. Where the Royals faltered in their previous games was that their final score was slightly below par. Had that been above par. they might have qualified in the first game itself. They need to double their scores at the end of 12 overs. If they achieve it, their win is guaranteed. It would also be a great tribute to Shane Warne who took them to their maiden title in 2008 itself along with a bunch of rookies. Definitely Warne would turn in his grave if the Royals won! Let's hope they take the title this time! Best wishes!

Hi Friends, welcome to our blog. Well, this is not a joke but under Modi, world politics is slowly revolving around India. World leaders are sending their emissaries invited or invited to India amidst the Ukraine/Russia standoff. Contrary to the west's expectations, India has maintained an independent position of neutrality and working only for it's own benefits. By taking a neutral stance, India is getting cheap Russian oil much to USA's chagrin. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has stood firm in it's resolve to maintain neutrality amidst all provocations, which denotes a rising India. Full credit should go to Modi and the external affairs Minister Jai Shankar. He was candid enough to point out to the west that they were still doing business with Russia while condemning the Russian Invasion. India being a net importer of oil has to depend on foreign countries for it's requirement. By not voting

with Russia India didn't invite USA's ire and by not voting with the USA, invoked Russian anger. For all practical purposes, India has bought S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia and would require it to thwart any Chinese aggression. Hence, India has to handle foreign affairs like a trapeze artist.

One thing Modi has made it clear to India's neighbors that he wants a warm relationship. He was honest in his intentions when he invited Nawaz Sharif for his swearing in. However, Pakistan failed to accept the hand of friendship, driven by ISI and the army and indulged in Pulwama. Modi is also teaching Pakistan a lesson as nowadays no one cares for Pakistan and whatever imran Khan's says. That is due to the astuteness of Modi and Ajay Doval. Even during the Doklam conflict, Modi didn't allow things to go out of hand. If India lost around 20 soldiers, our Soldiers appeared to have ensured that at least over 40 chinese Soldiers were killed with some chinese Soldiers neck twisted and face mutilated beyond recognition. The Government didn't allow the photos to be circulated and kept the conflict under control. This in turn ensured that bilateral relationship was not affected as India still buys goods over $100 billion from China. This is the mistake Ukraine did by allowing the conflict with Russia go out of hand in the beginning itself. Modi realizes that India is sorrounded by hostile neighbors who don't want it to grow but still has to do business with them. This is where he outguns Ukraine Head or Imran khan. 

Apart from this, India has been providing it's vaccines free of cost to other poor countries and had also provided medicines to the USA when Covid was it's peak in 2020 around the western world. All that is paying off and the whole world is courting India. Pakistan, on the contrary exports terrorism and creates outfits like Taliban who take the world to the Medieval period. There lies the contrast. Full marks to Modi and team and we are going to see lot more improvements in the time to come!

Why LSG lost to RCB  in IPL 2022

Hi Friends, this is a review of today's IPL eliminator between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers, Bangalore. RCB, despite being the fourth placed team in the qualifiers managed to outwit LSG and earn a playoff versus Rajasthan Royals. Batting first. RCB scored over 200 runs. The turning point was 92 runs scored in just 6.5 overs. That seemed to have turned the match on it's head. Of course, luck seemed to have played an important role in the form of a dropped catch for Dinesh Karthik. Again, this should have been overcome by LSG. It didn't look like RCB would get over 200 runs as look at their score at the end of 14 overs or so, they were expected to touch around 140 or 150 runs. However, this was way too much for LSG which was their maiden attempt to enter the IPL finals. 

In  reply, LSG seemed to have started off well, scoring over 60 runs in just 6 overs. However, subsequently, their scoring rates came down and with Rahul too getting bogged down a bit. Marcus Stoinis who normally scores freely got out cheaply, paving the way for their eventual defeat. However, RCB should also thank their bowlers Hazlewood and Harshal Patel who came good and didn't concede too many runs. The fact that in their 8 overs they conceded only 67 runs was way too good. LSG missed such a bowler is what we feel. In the end, LSG can take consolation that they entered the qualifiers in their maiden entry into IPL 2022. They came 3rd overall, beating Mumbai Indians, CSK and other teams on the way. RCB came 4th overall, with a negative NRR. They should only thank their stars and have two more matches to play for, before winning the title. Let's see what happens in their match against the Royals.

 How did the IPL preliminaries end?

IPL league stage finally got over on 5/22/2022 and the first of the playoffs is scheduled for 5/24 between the Group Toppers Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals, who came second. In the last match, Punjab Kings got the better of Sun Risers Hyderabad. Looking at how both the teams progressed, both didn't exhibit champion qualities. Both teams were short out for scores of less than 100 runs. Even if they had qualified for the last four, it wouldn't have been much deserving. For Punjab Kings, the consolation is that they ended up at Number 6, behind Delhi Capitals. They have always been an also ran team, capable of playing spoilsport to leading teams chances. That role was effectively played by Mumbai Indians when they defeated Delhi Capitals.

Sun Risers Hyderabad after winning 5 matches in the first leg, won only one match in the second leg. Any team that loses three matches consecutively doesn't deserve a place in the playoffs. It was in a case justified. Pity that Natarajan's form seemed to give away towards the closing stages of the league phase as he didn't play 3 matches. He did take around 17 wickets but still could have done far better. It remains to be seen if he can qualify for World T20 Championship. Let's hope he qualifies.

There would be no winners after the Ukraine Russia war. Although western media would like to project it as an act of aggression, the Russian aim had been to annex the eastern portions of Ukraine known as Donetsk region and liberate it from Ukraine. Alongside they were determined that Ukraine was not joining NATO. However, recently Finland has applied for NATO membership, with Sweden likely to follow suit. If both join, then Russia is going to have NATO right at its borders, which is not a welcome thing. The whole purpose of the war has been defeated.Its therefore an indirect defeat for Russia, who again cant go to war with a NATO country and trigger world war III. Wars in general weaken nations. Even during World war II, America was forced to take sides after Japanese attack on Pearl harbor. After World war II, Europe became weak and America rose as a world powerhouse. Ukraine exports are stalled and there is going to be a worldwide shortage of wheat and oil. 

Russia has occupied Ukraine's ports and destroying them. Ukraine is the largest e porter of Sunflower oil. UKRAINE is also  the leading e porter of wheat to most parts of the world. Egypt and Turkey are a few of the nations dependent on Ukraine's wheat with Egypt openly declaring that they have only 1 months stuck. India was planning to e port wheat but has been forced to ban it after a heat wave killed most of the crops. So it's back to square one for most   countries dependent on wheat imports. To avoid election defeat, India ba ktracked on allowing exports. There s every possibility of food shortage happening in many parts of the world as Ukrainian farmers see.ed to have skipped sowing seeds this year due to the war. Petroleum prices have gone up all over the world and to contain it asked Saudi Arabia to produce which have refused n asked usa to produce more. India is better as it is buying discounted oil from Russia. In Europe, there s a plan to punish Russia by more ing away from Russian gas which Would work but with a heavy cost as other imported sources from Arab nations and USA are not cheaper. Germany, Europe's powerhouse is poised to go into a recession if it s forced to look for alternate resources. If Germany goes into a recession, other vulnerable nations like Greece would follow suit. All in all, continuation of this war is not going to help anyone. Only if it stops can nations breathe freely but again no one knows when it is going to end. Right now usa is funding Ukraine and if due to domestic opposition stops, Ukraine would have to surrender. Let's see how the war ends, hopefully soon.

To start with, Annamalai started off slowly but is now playing the attacking game pushing the Dmk to be defensive. There are several reasons for it. Annamalai leveled serious charges against Senthil Balaji, Electricity Minister who after threatening to sue him(Annamalai) and did nothing. The same goes for RS Bharathi too, who after threatening Annamalai with court cases, fell silent. From all this it is pretty evident that the Dmk has been caught unawares and the charges against the DMk are pretty serious. Along with other allegations, Annamalai has also mentioned that the Dmk government is planning to move the Tamilnadu assembly to a place near Mamallapuram for DMK men who had bought lands in that area to profit. Annamalai mentioned that he will protest if the DMK announces any such moves. Even during the previous DMK regime there were discussions to move the Assembly and secretariat. Subsequently, it was built in Omandurar Arasinar Maaligai and when Admk came to power in 2011, it made the building as a hospital and the DMK Government has to once again scout for a new building. That's what Annamalai is pointing out as the beginning of a chance of scientific corruption. What should be annoying the DMK government no end is the fact that Annamalai seems to be one step ahead of DMK always. The DMK govt is also perplexed on how policy decisions are getting leaked and is trying hard to plug it. However, DMK seems to have forgotten that Annamalai is a former IPS officer and he would be having contacts with intelligence at all levels. Again the person who is going to be investigating is a person from Police force who would again may be well known to Annamalai. Not only that, there were videos circulating on facebook where a person belonging to the DMK was threatening a police personnel while inside a Church. All this may not go well with the Police force who may be keen to embarrass the Tamilnadu Government. Definitely Police would not keep quiet. DMK is famous for ill treating police and Annamalai seems to have contacts at all places. He is also seizing the moments quickly in his protest against renaming a street with Karunanidhi's name and DMK has relented. Bjp also seems to have understood that it is only aggressive play that would help in the long run. The challenge before Annamalai is not only in playing an aggressive game but also playing it continuously for the next 4 years also. The DmK government is also giving chances, for example in preventing the Pattina prevasam of Dharmapura athenam. Once Annamalai promised to intervene, the Government had to take its rule back.  Punjab Kings record 6th win and give other IPL raise hopes of other teams

Punjab Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore decisively by over 50 runs. This not only gave Punjab Kings hopes of qualifying for the last 4, they also ensured that other teams like Delhi Capitals, SRH can nurse some hopes for the last 4. A win for RCB would have ensured that they remained in the hunt and shut out hopes for the other teams. Alas, that was not the case as they succumbed to a shock defeat against Punjab Kings. Punjab, for their part pulled up a dream start by scoring over 60 runs in the power play. They did lose Dhawan during power play, however Bairstow continued scoring good runs which ultimately helped them score over 200 runs. From the way Punjab started, it seemed they may run up a score of over 220 runs. That was not the case finally, however that was still enough to defeat RCB who seemed to be on a losing spree. 

When RCB started, once again Kohli got out cheaply. Although Maxwell tried to revive their fortunes, it was still too much and when he got out, that was the end. Du Plessis too got out cheaply, which didn't help them much. However, once again it was the RCB's bowling that failed them as Hazelwood went for over 60 runs in his 4 overs. This was indeed too much and contributed to the score of Punjab Kings. Overall, it was a good comeback for Punjab Kings who still need to win their remaining matches and hope other teams play badly. For RCB, apart from winning next match, they need to win by a huge margin to move their NRR to positive territory. That is a huge ask and let's see if they can manage.

 Mumbai Indians Ensure Chennai Super Kings can't enter IPL 2022 Last 4

Whatever chances Chennai Super Kings had in qualifying for the last four were successfully extinguished by Mumbai Indians. By defeating CSK, Mumbai Indians have given themselves some hope they may not land up with the Wooden spoon. It is really a sorry state of affairs that two high proficient teams have ended up in the bottom rung in this IPL. While CSK can blame Jadeja's captaincy and some close matches going against them, Mumbai Indians game never rose with their Captain Rohit Sharma himself of not displaying his histrionics. CSK have also been guilty of letting go some of theiir match winners like Du Plessis and Josh Hazlewood. It would have been a different battle game had these two played for CSK! Any case, better luck to both in the next IPL!

Coming back to the match, CSK were done in by the seaming conditions and folded up for less than 100 runs. DRS not working due to a power cut didn't help CSK either. We were not sure as to why generators were not kept ready for such a crucial match and one that generates so much in revenue. The organizers would need to be blamed. In their reply, Mumbai Indians rattled up the score with 5 overs to spare. Some come back by Mumbai Indians but too late. Let's see who amongst these two end up with the wooden spoon this time.

 Rajasthan Royals give Delhi Capitals a life line:

Rajasthan Royals scored 160 runs in their allotted 20 overs which still didn't prove enough for Delhi Capitals to overrun it. For Delhi Capitals too it helped them temporarily forget their humiliating defeat in their previous match. However, RR are still ahead with 7 wins and need only one more win to secure a place in the last 4. We feel Jos Buttler getting out within the first few overs affected their innings pretty badly as it didn't give them the required start they might have wanted. Ashwin did play well but could have scored more runs in the balls that he faced and would have been disappointed to be on the losing side despite scoring a fifty. However, buttler getting out pretty cheaply mostly contributed to RR defeat. This match was going to be tough as all teams seem to have a chance to enter the last 4. However, we feel the lineup is mostly complete with GT, LSG, RR and RCB emerging as the teams to be in the last 4. Delhi Capitals can make a last minute splash but unless RCB play really bad in their next few matches, other teams don't have much of a chance. Let's wait and watch.

 Gujarat Titans enter last 4 of IPL 2022

Gujarat Titans qualified for the last four of IPL 2022 by crushing Lucknow Super Giants by more than 60 runs. The hallmark of this IPL has been that almost all teams have suffered humiliating defeats by  over 50 or 60 odd runs, once again proving that all teams can have an off day. Although GT have been the first one to enter the qualifiers of this IPL in their debut season itself, they are one of the few that the last rung team, Mumbai Indians had defeated. Hence, if strong teams really up their game, Gujarat Titans would need to go into a hiding. That is very much evident. Well, coming back to the match, GT appeared to be short by 20-30 runs when their innings ended, however that was still too much for Lucknow Super Giants. LSG didn't recover from a poor start and continued to lose wickets and ended up scoring 80 odd runs. The fact that they would lose by this large margin wasn't quite evident with rahul as their captain. However, teams seemed to be having more frequent off days during the second half of the tournament. Had Mumbai Indians and CSK not played badly during the first half, they could have easily qualified for the last 4. Any case, Mumbai are finally out, with 3 slots up for grabs between other teams. Even if GT lose their remaining set of matches, they still qualified for the last playoffs. Let's see who else can qualify from the remaining eight teams.

Hi Friends, welcome to our channel Balikabalida Thalaivarda. Happy Mother's day everyone!  This is a short video on the happy occasion of Mother's day! I have also learnt some life lessons or answers to some of the questions that I had when go around Meenakshi Temple, Houston. This was one such lesson where I saw what a Mother means.Once it just happened that I was seated outside the cafeteria at the temple and having my lunch. A large number of people were also standing in a queue to order food. A mother and her son who was around 15 years walked in. The Son as his wont sat down outside and started fiddling with his IPhone and got immersed in it.

His mother asked him if he wanted anything. She asked him repeatedly but he was unrelenting his answer that he didn't want anything. The mother took it as the answer and stood in the long queue. I thought the Mother was standing in the queue to have food. However, when she came out, she had two plates in hand, one for herself and the other she offered to her Son. Her Son, without any remorse, started gobbling up that food. That didn't impress me. It was the class act of the mother, who despite her Son's denials, knew that he had to be fed and despite herself being hungry, she didn't hesistate to bring food for her Son also. That is a Mother for you! Once again, Happy Mother's day everyone!

 Why Punjab Kings & Kolkata Knight Riders Keep going down in IPL 2022

Hi Friends, welcome to our today's review of the matches involving Punjab Kings(PBKS) and Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) with their opponents. Both the teams lost their matches to Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants respectively. However, while PBKS can hold their head with a little bit of pride, KKR should definitely hang their heads in shame, suffering a 70 run defeat and going back on their Net Run rate. For PBKS, the setback was expected once they failed to cross 200 runs. From the way they started, it looked like they would cross over 210 runs at least. That would have been a good score on this track. However, with some later order hitting they managed 189 runs. This too was not enough as proved by the Royals. The Royals, for their part should have closed the match sooner, but managed in 19.4 runs. A defeat would have been too tough to taste for the Royals. Definitely, PBKS have been going downhill from halfway through the tournament and may not make the cut for the last 4 is what we feel. Similarly, KKR after starting the IPL with a bang are still in the lowering rung of the points table with only 4 wins. By suffering such a humiliating defeat, they also don't look like making the cut. Their only hope from the looks of it is to remain above Mumbai Indians and CSK. Any team that suffers such a humiliating defeat cannot hope to emerge into the last four. As far as KKR is concerned, that is our verdict. Lets wait and see!

 Why Gujarat Titans are no longer the team to beat - IPL 2022

Gujarat Titans, still sitting pretty at the top with most number of wins, succumbed to their second defeat in their 10th match of the tournament. They lost by only 5 runs to Mumbai Indians who are at the bottom rung of the ladder and are 10th placed. The top team, losing to the last placed team just goes to show how Topsy turvy this tournament can be. Along with SRH, they also have suffered their second loss in the second part of the tournament. GT required only 20 odd runs from their last 15 balls and looking at their heroics in the previous matches, should have been a cakewalk. Infact their openers forged a century stand and Shubhman Gill was in top form too. However, two needless runouts towards the end of the innings put paid to their hopes. Still, a top ranked team is supposed to get over the short setbacks and move forward. However, that didn't seem the case on this occasion. The fact that they couldn't score 8 runs in the last over makes us feel that this team is not fir to be winner of IPL 2022. Champion teams always show Champion stuff. That's what CSK and Mumbai Indians are good at. What this defeat shows is against a reputed opponent, GT are going to break into pieces. They don't appear to be that strong. We feel they won't be deserving Champions of IPL 2022.

Going back to Mumbai Innings, Rohit Sharma struck some form that ultimately helped the MI to a par score of 177. Having been at 111 at the end of 12th over, they should have scored at least over 200 runs. They should ponder over as to why they didn't make it. It was to GT bowlers credit that they pulled back, however when it was not Miller's day, GT had to suffer the ignominy of a loss. Mumbai record their second win, however the prospect of them making the playoffs is still remote as they can at a maximum score only 6 wins, with lot of teams above 5 wins. MI can however spoil others chances is what we feel, from their performance today. Let's wait and watch.

 Why CSK would need a miracle to enter last 4 of IPL 2022

CSK have only themselves to blame after today's defeat by around 13 odd runs. Although the margin of defeat looks small, it really looks like a huge defeat. They started off well, scoring over 50 runs in the power play but seem to have lost crucial wickets which ended in Dhoni holing out to deep midwicket, which effectively sealed the match in favor of RCB. CSK could have bowled a bit better after restricting RCB to around 155 runs in the 18th over or so. Even though Dinesh Karthik did well towards the end, it was an out an out all round display by RCB. CSK after winning their last game seem to have gone back to old ways. RCB at their end were a bit sluggish, with Kohli once again falling for 30 runs. He is yet to hit top form since last year. Overall, it was CSK's bad play that helped RCB rather than the other way around. RCB despite scoring 6 wins have only 3 more matches to seal a place, with other teams having more matches than them. It remains to be seen if they can still remain in the top 4. Let's wait and see.

 Why Today's CSK Vs RCB crucial for both Teams

Hi Friends, as we are in the last quarter of IPL 2022, today's match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings is crucial to both the teams. In the case of RCB, they are in  descendant, having lost some crucial matches, whereas CSK appear to be ascending as signified by their recent win under MS Dhoni. Handing off the captaincy yo MSD seems to have helped Jadeja a bit as his bowling seems to have improved. Under MSD, even Ruturaj seems to have found his long lost formal. He narrowly missed a century against SRH, although CSK won. In hindsight, CSK seems to have found their winning ways under Dhoni. Even though Dhoni himself has not fired all cylinders, he was responsible for their II win. It just goes to show how much the team depends on Dhoni. As far as RCB are concerned, Kohli is yet to fire and not amongst runs. Even Shastri advised him to take a break. Let's see if he succeeds in this game. If he fails in this game too, there is no point in him continuing in this IPL. Let's wait and watch.

 CSK back to winning ways

CSK secured their third win in IPL 2022, thanks to a sterling performance from their openers, with Ruturaj Gaikwad unlucky to miss a deserving hundred. The opening partnership itself scored 182 runs out of the total 200 odd runs scored by CSK. The way they started off, it looked like CSK was destined for a score over 220 runs. However, that was not be, after they lost Ruturaj to Dhoni. They however did well to defend their score against Sun Risers. Strangely, SRH bowlers couldn't make major inroads into CSK. Bhuvanesh Kumar was restrictive but couldn't capture wickets. Umran Malik was again expensive and couldn't make much of a difference with his pace. Sundar didn't get a chance to bowl and got injured too. All in all, a day off for the SRH pacers.

When SRH started,  a target of over 200 runs was always going to be difficult for them. Their batting is not very strong, nor is it weak. they did forge an initial partnership during the powerplay. However, that alone was not enough for them to reach the target. All along in this tournament, they had struggled to score over 180-190 runs. That came to the forefront this time too as SRH finally fell short by 13 runs, despite scoring 24 runs in the last over. A relief from Captaincy seems to have helped Jadeja with his bowling  as he conceded only 15 runs in his 3 overs. A good comeback from CSK' bowlers. Overall, a nice comeback by CSK. However, they have a mountain to climb. They need to win all their remaining matches and also better their Net run rate. It is still in the negative and only by improving it  can they nurse hopes for the last 4. As far as SRH is concerned, their bowlers need to fire a lot more and keep the opposition to a score less than 180 runs. Else, they can't progress further in the tournament.
